I think I saw somebody else with this one after I bought it. I had the Hurst pistol grip shifter, but the angle wasn't right and bugged my. Even after I put in the TRD quick shifter.

How did you get your shift boot to sit up level with the underside of your ball? I tried with mine and its very tight when I shift. I put it in 4th and it almost tore the boot off lol

well i guess im fu**ed. my boot is just physically too short to be level with the bottom of the knob without being way to tight while shifting through gears (with stock shifter at least)
