looks liek an x runner to me
It was purchased as a 4x4. Been through a metamorphasis.
Engine builds took A LOT longer, and became more expensive than originally forecasted for. Throwing my time frame to do other aspects of the build years behind. Getting the AWD transfercase attached, has always been part of the plan.
believe it or not they actually compare very well and even seem to be a not bad machine. but what features do you want? dc or ac/dc pulse? multi process? and there are other very good brands other then miller depending on what your looking for
so let me get this straight with out read for ever
you bought a 4x4 truck lowered said truck and put in a awd transmission since it will have center clutch/thermo cupler to prvent binding???? so it can be odd ball truck race truck truck ????
The Borg Warner AWD transfer case has a viscous coupling, to do exactly what you're thinking.
Custom McCloud twin disk clutch for T56 to Tacoma.
Used to be lifted and off-road. Now it road course races, like an XR. Woot!
you should look into them more. the quality is amazing and most big name fabricators are using them
Good news! Just heard back from Ron Davis Radiators. Their oem upgraded, drop-in, bolt-in radiator is near ready.
After two months of working with them, delays on my behalf, they are ready to manufacture it. Cannot wait. Woot!
I thought you already had a drop in upgraded radiator.
I feel OK with my spending when I see yours
Had. It has been out for a while. It was because of me ordering the wrong one, it started this process. I didn't realize at the time, but I had ordered one which was to be mounted to a vehicle with a tube chassis. A chassis which doesn't flex.
That created the conversation which started this process.
Here is the eye candy.
Post install. Buttoned up perfectly.
Wow!! Way to pretty to put in the truck. Should put that on the wall and show it off!!
Nice! How much did that bad boy set you back?
Sooo pretty. Put in that ole rust bucket of mine. Lol.
Since I collaborated, with Ron Davis Radiators, to make a bolt in upgraded radiator for the Tacoma, I got a good deal on it.
Available for order now.
What are you using for the fan controller?
In the picture with my finger pointing near to the thermostat, is the temp sensor which controls the fans.
It is their harness.
What does the control unit look like?
In the link.
