I've installed ss coils and measured the front wheel gap. Drivers side is 1/4" higher than passenger side. Is this normal and how do I correct this issue?

If you didn't let them settle, wait a few days of regular driving for them to settle and check the height again...

How did you install them? On a rack, or jacking up one side at a time?

Your suffering from Tacolean, don't worry everyone pretty much has it.

It could be tacolean, but if you used a jack one side at a time and measured right after then the suspension hasn't gotten a chance to settle and sit how it should...

I jack up my truck on one side to change my oil and when I drop it down it sits higher until I drive it...

It's to help get rid of the Taco lean.
When the tank is full and you're sitting in it, you shouldn't Lean Like a Taco anymore!:top:

My springs were installed back in Nov. The truck was parked since then. I began driving it last week. DS measures 4 1/4" and PS at 4" and I still haven't got alignment should I hold off. Will this fix this issue? I'm just worried maybe if I have a bad coil alignment would be pointless.

I just went out to measure the rear. The ds 4 1/2" and the ps rear sits 4 3/4".

How long did you drive it?

Maybe they need to settle more IDK?

Drive through canyons every day for a week and that should give them the stress it may need...

I've been driving the truck for a week now but it was park since Nov back when I did the install.

did you check with Shane?

No I haven't checked with him. Anyways, he's hard dude to get hold of.

yes it does. the driver side springs are a bit stiffer than the passenger side.

That being said would it take longer for one coil to settle then the other. My passenger side does sit lower than the ds.

It's because you are in Canada. You are closer to the polar cap. The curvature of the Earth is sharper, thus the lean.

This compounded by global warming and swine flu, you are bound to lean!
