What Window Tint %? Please post pics!!

thanks bro...my tint is 5% on the fronts...5% on top of the factory 20% on the backs and a 35% winshield...my drop is the c2c/2" belltech...

cops dont bother you with 35% tint on the front? Here in Louisiana front tinting of any kind is completely not allowed.

What Window Tint %s Are You Running

I am getting my windows tinted within the next two weeks and I'm trying to decide between 20% or 5% all around. So I was just wanting to see what all of you guys were running. Sorry if there is already a thread on this but I could not find it.

But 5% will look good also, just a lil too dark IMO and might attract attention

I've had mine done 3 times.... Went 5% all around the first two but after one ticket and then issues getting it inspected i stripped it off the two front windows and went with legal (35%) but left the access doors and rear glass with the 5%. I've really been wanting to go back to the 5% on the front too but my guy that use to inspect it for me wont do them anymore since he's been busted multiple times. If you got some hookups LET ME KNOW. :biggrin: Also, if you need a good tint guy let me know. He's done all my vehicles and all my friends too... does excellent work and uses quality tint.

I have 20% on the side and back windows and 50% on the other window.

I spent $200 on 5% only to have it removed from the front windows and replaced with 35% for another $100. I still have 5% on the back windows and I have trouble looking behind me at night...even in the evenings. I would get legal tint to save you from throwing away money, staying safe, and keeping you out of trouble with the cops.

I just got rid of my Double 5% on my truck I'm currently installing 2 1/5 % tint on, I have the Rear Window all finished Im going to put another 2 1/5% over that :biggrin: :biggrin: By the end of the Next Week I should have Double 2 1/5 % on my truck :biggrin:

when i did my tint.. i did 5% in the front and 17% in the back since its already pretinted. it came out nice and they all match. you'll get used to it at night. i did and when i gotta reverse, just roll the windows down. good luck bro!

I've got 20% all the way around. Thats pretty touchy in cali because cops are tough on window tint

15% up front 5% over the factory tint. The back is pretty freakin dark and you can't see ish out of it at night. The front at 15% is perfect. Dark enough to keep the light/heat out and have privacy but light enough to not get hassled by the cops and still see out of at night.

I have 10% all the way around over the factory and am going to go 50% on the winshield when I get home. 10 can be too dark sometimes and I would never recommend 5. My roommate has it and can't see anything at night.
