I'm a 59fifty dude as well. I had around 50 or so hats before I downsized (now I'm closer to 30).

I've yet to try em out but I've seen flatfitty hats in some boutique stores. Their quality rivals New Eras. Check out www.flatfitty.com

That's the point. New Era has developed quite a following on brand loyalty. Zephyr hats are crap. I never bought a Mitchell and Ness so I can't speak on those. I personally don't care much for the Nike/Adidas/Reebok ones although I may have a couple Reeboks since they got NFL/NBA licensing.

flatfitty is proof that newera isn't the only company to make nice quality hats

I loved my Zephyr until I left it in my truck and it shrunk, haha. Nice collegiate base. But now I rock the New Era!!!
