Doug Thorley Short Tube Headers

Tinny sounding headers?
after installing thorley longtubes, I noticed a ping/tin like sound to the engine bay......I ASSUME its just the headers, and want to know if anyone else has noticed the same. Leaks up at the studs wont be easy to trace due to the normal racket of our trucks engine..... NO, i did not use any...- wolfpack_5150

exhaust wrap on headers and Y pipe or not?
Im 99% sure Im gunna wrap the URD Y-pipe due to how close it gets to the trans, which worries me more due to having an auto. Well my headers finally came in Friday, they are American Racing Headers 1 7/8" + X pipe. I made a trip over to Victoria to LSX Performance Dyno Tuning yesterday to have them installed and tuned.
