I have the same thing but I wired it up into my center console box. It makes it easier to hook up/unplug/change songs.

Is there cutting of the wires involved. I'm new to the Ipod install into the X. I thought they came with an Aux input and they don't. What's a good kit?

Where can I buy one of these interfaces? I am going to be doing a lot of traveling soon and I want to hook up my iPod. Also, would our DIP switches be set the same as the guys who wrote the mod?

So how does this work? There are pretty much no instructions, just how to set the DIP switches. When you switch stereo modes does it recognize an aux ipod port or something?

im gonna be removing the stereo to hook up a 4 channel amp-out put.... just wanted to know how to safely remove the plastic and which color wires go to the speaker....

although with the speakers i can find that out when i remove the door panels and take the speakers out

uhhhhhhh i got lost half way threw.... at the wiring....... the yellow wire goes to the big mellons:biggrin: lol ya that is simple...... clip, screw, clip out.....
