Anybody have pics of aftermarket 18's with stock tires, no drop. Also looking for 20's with no drop. I have lowered vehicles in past but trying to keep the X at stock ride height. I think the stock rims fit the style of the truck perfect but wondering if anybody has installed a better looking 18.

20's if your going no drop. If your going with stock height, might as well fill up some of that wheel gap

20's with thick tire, what type of tire size are you guys running for this type of set-up? I don't want low profile because trying to get rid of wheel gap without lowering truck.

I say lower it and put 18's. They will look even better. Or lower it and keep the stock rims cause it makes it look 10 times better with the gap in the wheel filled.

BTW....I like these! :top:

I'm woried about the truck not feeling the same if lowered. Some of the roads can be rough. How does the suspension feel after lowering? My last truck was belltech 3/4 kit and it was one bumpy ride.

Well depends which kit that you have. I got the "C2C", some others that I know has the SOS. The ride isn't that bad at all, except I'd recommend cutting your bump stops after you do the 2" drop blocks and trying that towel method on your leafs

Sorry, no pictures of my truck with the 18s on and no drop, i did both on the sameday but anyways here are pictures of my truck with 18s and the SOS 1.5\2inch drop. After cutting the bump stops in the back the ride is great :top: i think 18s look great on the truck after the drop even if youre just running the stock rims, i just went wider

I'm thinking about this to much, I should just drop it and ask questions later, then again I like the thick tire look. Thanks for the pics, both set-ups look nice :top: .

i think with 20's u still need a drop, with no drop you're probabaly gonna need 22's, the xr is a pretty big vehicle, i parked it nest to a s550 (a massive vehicle in itself), and it just dwarfed it, the s550 had 19's and it looked ok, the size of the xr just makes 18's look like 16's
