finally getting out of the cell phone business. worked at cingular for 2 years. i want to be a fireman so this was a job when i have been in school. basically...i came upon an offer and went with it. i have been going to a local dyno shop for months for all my turbo stuff and dynos ect. a worker there is leaving.... so he offered the job and i took it.

gonna be 10-6 M, T, WED, 1-6 Thurs with every other friday off, and the weekend off all month. 1500 bucks a month with comes out to 13 ish an hour, or, about 15.75 hr if i was taxed. about the same as i make now, but, ill get to work on cars. the shop is open to me any time i want, including the dyno :rock:

so, hopefully i can get some cheap rate dyno days set up for the socalers;

no, im not. although i can usually make the ASE people look dumb once we start talking. the pay is better than the local toyota dealer can pay me if i was certified. basically.......it came down to i hang out there often anyways. half the time ill be hanging out watching cars run, but getting paid now. he was willing to work around school and the no weekend is sweet. its just a side job with c2c and school :top:

live it up, working in performance is where I want to end up. Working in the Automotive industry is a pain right now (Product Engineer for fuel Injectors). OEMs are a pain in the A$$.

The Engineers paycheck will be used to open a shop someday :driver:

I hope the shop you are working at is a higher class than most of the shops here. Most are ran buy young guys with tons of automotive knowledge and Zero business skills.

This means your Turbo will be done when.........:top:

Shoot Jon, thats a hook-up. Where in SoCal are you? I would love to cruise down there and take a spin on the rollers. I am in Santa Barbara County, on the Central Coast, so I may be a lil too far North.
