Amp???

i'm looking to buy a new amp since i fried my last one. i have two 12" orions in a ported box there capable of 1ohm x 2 im lookin for an amp but i see none that say 1 ohm capable there 4ohm but parlleled to 1 ohm. there 1000 watts a piece, so im looking for a hefty amp any body know any 1500 to 2000 watt mono d amps that are 1 ohm capable, i don't know to much about amps an the wiring i just know what i need an want hope this is enough info....

JL amps are the best hands down, they have more patents for their amp technology than any other amp on the market, their subs are nothing compared to their amps, but they are a little pricey though, for something cheaper but also decent quality i would go with alpine, no matter what you get with them you can't really go wrong, its like getting trd parts

There's quite a few good amps out there; JL, Polk Audio, Kicker, McIntosh, TRU, Brax, Alpine, etc depends on how much you want to spend.

Kicker SX1250.1 delivers 1,250 watts RMS at 1 ohm. You also have a Hifonics BX1500D Brutus amp that puts out 1500 watts RMS at 1 ohm as well as the MTX TA81001 that puts out the same. The amps that put out that kind of power are going to be the high end almost pro amps so be looking to spend big $$$$. I believe the MTX goes for $1k.

oh yeah i think im going to get my sytem under way, im going with the pioneer deh-7800mp, i already have two 12" orions (given some might not think there the best but they bump harder than anything ive heard)an the kicker sx1250.1, i have the infinity componet system 51/4's with 1 inch silk dome tweeter but i need to find some kik panels for the 51/4's an i want to mount the tweeters at the base of the piilars in the dash, i have two speakers in each front door what are they? i think i want to replace the front door speakers with infinity's also what sizes are they??

i would have to disagree..
i think rockford amps are superior to jl amps

Arc Audio Amps are made by Robert Zeff the brains behind Zapco. I have the XXK 2500 running at .75 Ohm and it produces clean brutal Bass using the PEQ-7. OMG! Both are very affordable
