Damn I hate being broke. If I didn't have to put my tax return toward a new PC I would jump on this. I hate the drums in back.

Never really heard of the SOS brakes, only TRD/Stoptech and Rotora. Are they good?
Still pisses me off that the X's never came stock with the disc brakes.

Honestly... if I were gonna drop $1,000 on my truck right now - it wouldn't be on brakes. Although I hate the LOOKS of the drums, I have not had any problems in stopping with the drums. I'd put the thousand bucks somewhere else.

The reality is unless you are racing or towing near the weight limit of the XR, this is for looks alone. There is no weight in the back of these trucks, they don't need more rear brakes. These trucks need more FRONT, of course its $2K+ :(. I was talking to a friend who roadraces her mustang cobra. She just put on a bbk, it was 2 larger vented discs, 4piston calipers, lines etc. UNDER $900. :(

BBK for other brand you can find them for less money, but our truck seems to have no demand!
