I've decided not to be a nani anymore and just try and do the black out head light mod tomorrow. So anyone got some tips that might make this go smoother? What kinda paint should I get?

Yeah.. i used krylon fusion... been done ever since the first write up came out, with no problems. I didn't use any silicone on mine when putting them back together but others have had to take them back apart and reseal them with it, so i would probabley go ahead and put some on when reassembling the two pieces :top:

Yeah read the write-up first...and the tips.

Also ask yourself do you want the glossy look or the flat black look? I personally like the Krylon Fusion Glossy Black. Looks a lot more black then the first time i did it, which was the Flat Black. Also, reflectors or non-reflectors? Some questions you should ask yourself prior to starting
