Anyone ever doen this PC?

I know there has been some discussion about it, but has anyone ever Photoshopped (SP?) a carbon fiber hood onto a RR X? Most people do not like the look, it looks pretty ricey, but i amVERY curious to see what it would look like.

i meet a guy here in Los angeles since my friend is inna car club here... he has a MR2 the old ones ... and he is carbon fibering the whole top ... he does that with civics to ... i asked him if he would do my hood Carbon Fiber ... he said he would have to make a mold n what not ... and if he lays it over it will be heavy ... but im thinking of telling my friend to give him a call i wanna see if he will do my hood scoop insert ...

Our hoods are pretty heavy, but not like it would make that much of a difference w/ CF

If you get a cf hood just paint the kevlar RR, SWB or BSP

why get a carbon fiber hood when there is nutting under the engine? if u have a s/c and want to get the x to weight less get a carbon fiber hood and swap the seats to racing seats which weigh less!

cf hood is usually for looks, the weight, with a truck that rates at 275 lbs of torque, is negligible

Here ya go. Im no PS pro (self taught) but this should help give you some idea, you may need a bit of imagination since the weave is a bit off..

Haha yeah, I can usually do a better job with a more head on angle. But thats the only pic I have of my truck.. I'll make another attempt tommorow or something. What I posted was just an idea.. it looks funky tho, haha oh well.

I just don't think that a carbon fiber hood will look right.. messes up the lines up front with the grille and everything :dontknow:
