I just don't think that a carbon fiber hood will look right.. messes up the lines up front with the grille and everything :dontknow:
Definately, I think it would look unfinished or something. I hate seeing a car/truck with totally different colored body parts.:hmmmm2:

cf hood is usually for looks, the weight, with a truck that rates at 275 lbs of torque, is negligible
I don't know about weight reducing being a negligible thing to do. Weight reducing has immeasureable benefits to any vehicle. No matter how you look at it, weight is weight. Just because that the engine produces alot of torque, dosen't mean that it dosen't have to work any less. You'll get increased gas milage, per gallon. You'll get increased acceleration. You'll get increased handling capacity.

The Nissan Skyline weighs just about as much as our truck. 3676lbs. 3725lbs for our trucks. The Skyline also produces more power. I'm sure Nissan has a lighter weight hood on that sucker too.

So yea. Reducing weight on a car, isn't something that should be neglected.
