ARP Head Studs for 1GR and Main Studs

ARP Head stud part number for the studs from LC Engineering.

This is the part # for the head studs. ATP 5.950-2LUB, from LCE, if any one needs to find this part # for whatever the reason. :top:

The bottom of the studs, that go into the block are M11x1.5 pitch. Torque to 75 ft/lbs with ARP's Molylube.

Here are two more part numbers.

ATP6.100-2LUB

These are a little stronger than the ones sold by LCE, according to ARP and LCE. They are ~$23 each, not including nuts and washers.

ATP 7.230-10GB

ARP states that those were designed for an aluminum block, and are rated to hold to 80 psi on the block before stretching.

These are Custom Age 625+. They are much stronger than the ARP 2000 series and L19 series studs. Much more resistant to environmental corrosion as well, unlike the L19's.

They will have to be trimmed a little to fit. Good thing about machine shops. :top:

Here are the Main studs for the 1GR. They are actually 2JZ head studs.

The 1GR uses 16 main studs and the 2JZ uses 14 head studs. So you will need to purchase two sets or get some from someone else who already has spares.

Also, the shoulder need to be cut with a die so that the studs will thread into the block copmletely. As the shoulder is slightly wider in diameter than the threads, and will bottom out before the threads have enough engagement.
