Coilover group buy

Sorry to ask this I hope it is not insulting, If I am thinking of changing out my qa1's on my truck with the XII mounts, is there a good reason to change the mounts not just swap the coilovers to the Viking shocks? and how much stiffer is the 650 than the stock spring?

The Strictly Street coilover mounts are much more stiffer than the XII mounts. But you could just swap out the coilovers and use the XII mounts. The stock springs are 550ppi

Can I mix two rear qa1 single adjustable shocks with the two front triple adjustable SS viking coil overs or should all four be the same?

You will be fine if you run qa1s in the back. You just wont have as much adjustment there obviously

I have finally placed my order, I would love to buy the rears also but the rear qa1's aren't having as much of an issue I don't think. I might be turning around in a few weeks and buying them also.

Hmmm,
Contacted Tom @ SOS / Tundra Racing and purchased two of his lowing perches / spring mounts. I then machined out the bottom of the aluminum perches / spring mounts to fit over the aluminum adjusting collar. The way the lower part of the spring sets in the mounts it partially causes the spring to “Coil Bind” increasing the spring rate about 10 to 15%. I then had the aluminum powder coated so the aluminum would’t corrode from getting wet.
I bet I have less than $175 in mounting the coil-overs. Plus i didn’t have to buy coil-over springs.
However i did purchased a set of New Hyper Coil 550# springs if anyone interested in them Contact me️
I thought I was going to use the Hyper Coil springs to hold up my front but it turns out the aluminum 5.3 LS weight is about the same as the cast iron Toyota engine.
Also working on motor mounts for LS swaps if anyone interested?

WTF! Now is it you think your aluminum top mounts are any stiffer than a 1/4” piece of steel setting in the factory coil bucket? They may look pretty but they’re not any stiffer! Plus unless you look up pass the tire into the fender well you can’t even see the top mount…
