cop run in

thought id tell you about what happened to me around two am last night.

so i pull into a 7/11 and left the lights on (hids 8000k), well apparently there were 3 state troopers in the store and i so happened to light up one end. They all went to my truck outside while i was in line and started looking up really closely at the lights.

i went outside and asked them if they needed any help, they asked me if my lights were stock, and i said no. then theyy asked me if they were ilegal or not and i laughed.

one cop then proceeded to look at my smoked out tailights and said he knew for a fact that those were illegal. I said i wasnt sure. meanwhile my gf is in the car but they cant see her because of the tint.

After all their questions they started asking me what kind if truck it was and if it was fast. ....i was like is that a trick question.

anyways they didnt give me any tickets but left me with a bunch of compliments.

i wouldve given you a ticket for leaving your lights on and for leaving your girlfriend in the car with tint so dark that i couldnt see her looking at me looking at your truck ! :laugh:

Gosh I wish I was that lucky to get off of a ticket they got me to take out my tint sigh... (I feel so incomplete):frown: oh well

wow alex i havent got any problems with my headlights ... well i got stopped once cuz they are so bright ... and since i blacked out my lights u cant really see the signal any more ... but if you look closely you can ... so the cop stopped me to point it out ... hahaha ... how you like em by the way??? ... and if you read the paper iin the box it says for off road use only ... hahaha ... but thats koO you got away

they are awesome! but everyone who i follow hates them hehe. Plus when i am trying to make a left turn people flick their high beams at me which makess me think that theyre gonna let me go, but really they are pissed at hw bright my lights are.

i had the same problem ... i used to pull up behind someone and like 5 car lenghts away from em i lighted up their whole mirrors ... hahaha ... but aim them down ... get more to the ground and less on pepz eyes :top:
