Is the intake efficient though since it is in a box? I see the hole where air is supposed to come in, but what about when its really hot outside? Wouldn't that chamber the hot air inside the box?

Hey SWB X, I'm guessing you havent had any problems with the location of the intake as far as water goes. But are there any downfalls of its location that you know of?

I live in fla, so there are ALWAYS rain storrms here. I have not had any problems with the location of the filter. You'll have to trim a little bit of the inside of the grille but thats about it.

Downfalls....not really, you'll feel a difference in third gear @ the higher rpms, it definetly breathes better with the forced air.

I dont have the maf sensor calibrator.
I have a psc 001 signal calibrator.
Its worth it, if you can get a good tune from it.

I thought that was the same thing. The maf sensor calibrator is the new name for the psc 001 calibrator. I could be wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere.

That is correct.

URD is the exclusive distributor or Split Second Products for Toyota vehicles.

We have renamed the PSC1-001 and -003 to the URD MAF Sensor Calibrator to keep the nomenclature in line with the rest of the URD Performance Calibration Units.
