... had any success with those online dating sites (match.com or eharmony.com, etc...)?

i've been seeing a lot of commercials and online ads for these sites lately, and wondered if they actually work, or if people are just desperate and lonely enough to pay money for no results?

no i don't but I'm sure there's people out there that have had luck .
me personally i think there's enough available people that live around you that you shouldn't have to go that route but to each is own i guess

Actually my sister-in-laws brother just got married to a girl he met off eHarmony.com - and a business client of mine met his current girlfriend (soon to be fiance) off of Match.com.

Basically I just see them as another Myspace but you have to pay. You can look girls up on Myspace and sort them by the options they filled out on their profiles and then just message them and meet up.
