I'm looking to buy the truck, and have been weighing the options. This is one of the few vehicles that has a MT, looks sweet can carry all my RC Plane junk. How does it handle on a course not just street driving but a real course. And How do the brakes hold up with fading and all? Thanks and if I missed a link in my search that talks about this just pass it on to me cause I couldn't find one.

Matt - funny, I'm into R/C planes and helos too. I've seen a few autocross the truck and I plan to in the future. I'll tell you this --- I've pushed this truck on twisty roads to the point that it scared me... and I think the truck still had more. Get it - you'll be very happy. :top:

And welcome to XR-U!

Thanks all

Yeah i've found that this is the only cool practical vehicle out there. Also planing to take this thing on a course soon after I buy it. I know that I'm going to be going down to the carolinas with a buddy of mine in his 350z so maybe take this with me. Yeah and the planes are about as bad of an addiction as cars. I had to get a storage unit for all my crap. Thanks for the replies

I live in Long island but the truck says DE since thats where I used to live and tax is a lot cheaper. So I just left it regestered at the folks place. I'll find out when the drive is and keep ya'll up to date.

welcome!

for autoX there's a few goodies u should add to get the best performance out of the truck. first of all.. lower it a few inches, not crazy b/c u want to be able to carry stuff in the back, but just give it a lower center of gravity.

2nd, make sure u have a tire fund, u'll be done with the stock tires in a few thousand miles if u autox them.
3rd, short shifter. theres a few out (URD, TRD, B&M)

get one! u'll love it!
