Doesn't look good for XFE

Well sadly it doesn't look good for me to go to XFE yet this year. I had a nice talk with my wife which some of you know is pregnant and is due in november. Well she has said originally that she wanted to go, but as it stands now, she doesn't know if she can make the trip. Secondly some bs creditcard crap popped up on me saying that I owe 533.00 bucks and my Gaylord lid is in its works to be paid off. *Hopefully without as much hassle as the rest*...It just seems unless I pull a rabbit out of a hat, I wont be attending....:thumpdown: Which ultimately has me at a very sad state. Ive been looking forward to going to XF, any of them really, but XFE is much closer. I'd like to meet as many of my brothers and sisters here as I possibly can to finally put faces to screen names. Even if I can scrape up all the dough to go, and the dough I still don't want to leave my wife. As it stood before hand that was going to be our honeymoon. We've been married for a few months now, and we decided to wait for the right time to celebrate it, Well that time was XFEST....So I guess unless I can ***** rabbit feet out of my a$$, Im up a creek without a paddle....

Heres a magic set you could get so you can pull that rabbit out the hat :biggrin: Then you can make it, just trying to brighten your hopes some. I really hope things work out for you bro and congrats on the new wife and baby thats on the way.

hate to say it, but early indications are that i'm not going to be able to afford it either... the GF and i are looking for a place together, which will both increase our initial spending (furniture/appliances, insurance, etc...) but will be cheaper in the long run. it all depends on timing now, but sadly there are things out there that are much more important than this

but who knows... maybe things will work out for us and we'll (or at the least i will) make it out there for this :dontknow:

Well all in all, I have made light good news so far!!! WE went for my wifes 20 week ultra sound today, and we are having a boy!!! Maddox Joseph Brauner!!! Im stoked...Im still hoping to come, we will see what happens, and if I cant make it this year, Hell have no fury to prove I will be there next year :top:

Well bro, I'm very sad to hear that you may not be able to make it this year --- I know you were excited about coming and we always like to see new faces! At the same time though, my wife went to X-Fest last year when she was 3-4 months pregnant and she was very sick most of the time. Luckily I ran with a great group of guys on the way home. She laid back and slept nearly all 9 hours back b/c she was so sick. So I can understand why your wife wouldn't want to come.

I'll tell ya dood... being a father is the best thing in the world - and the most trying thing in the world too. It's the only thing I have ever experienced that gives me the full spectrum of emotions - from the deepest love I've ever felt to the deepest frustrations too. :biggrin: BUT, the thing is the good FAR OUTWEIGH the bad. I love my kids so much. Getting ready to leave work now to go home and see my little boy and girl.

SO A BIG CONGRATS TO YOU AND YOUR WIFE! Please upload photos once our newest member arrives!
