Doin it right the first time

Ok well I want to order the DJM 3/3 drop and axis shines 20s... does it void warranty droping your truck/ cutting your frame??? What width and backspacing does the wheels need to be? and tire size with min amount of rubbing... 255/35/20? Also would i still beable to drive up on a lift with this much of a drop like to get it worked on? I just want to make sure I do everything right the first time around and be happy with the results... Also the tire pressure sensors that we have on our trucks do we have to replace those when we put new wheels on? Is the dash light gona be on telling me my tires are low if the sensors are not installed on the new wheels?

yes this kit will void all of your suspension warrenty. by cutting your frame the dealer has a strong base for denial of warrenty.
the wheels only come in one offset.
you will rub no matter what tire size you run.
you will need to cut your rear fenders as well.
no, i can no longer drive up on my ramps at home. at the dyno, they build me little stacks, cant get on that either.
the tire pressor sensors need to be put into the new wheels too.

p.s, do you have to copy my suspension and rims? shesh, thats not cool.

Well lets see? I want to drop my truck the best way possible and i beleive the DJM kits the way to go! And I also happen to like the shines too and I live no where near you so I dont see the Problem!?:top:

Well, I will buy what I like and im still exploring my options on wheels for my X anyways... I dont know what width and Backspacing i will have to have in order to put the new wheels about where the stock wheels sit.... I dont want them to stick out!!!!

haha i was thinking ... if u never mentioned the AXIS Rims ... no one would be hassleling you on your choice of rims ... but like everyone said ... its not koo to rock someones Rims ... IMO:thumpdown:

as i told you in my first post, they only come in one offset. the only rim you can fit is the 9" Wide.

Hey man its all good... I understand that you want your X to be one of a kind... Your truck is sick... But I do like the wheels... Im gona keep looking around to see if I can find some other bada** wheels for my X... Thanks for your help...

thats the problem, there isnt too much out there. you are looking for 5x114.3 though. most wheels are going to be for cars, so post up ones you can find and we can help you figure out if they will work or not.
