Engine Cover

I am not sure if i am posting in the right place but has anyone ever come across a carbon fiber engine cover for the x? i think it would look great.

is there anything besides getting my cover painted

already checked into the painting of the plastic cover.won't work due to heat,BUT you can go with fab'd aluminum and get it painted.boyd cottington does that on his hotrods.

Yo John, a bunch of people have painted the cover already. As long as you use good high temp paint, it holds fine!

maybe this custom paint shop didn't want to mess with it but thats what I was told. i plan on going with fab'd aluminum soon!

the service mgr at k.p. has a 07 fj black with white top has it tricked out with stainless fab'd by this shop here called mild to wild .he said he was getting engine ccover done by him.this guys a slammed yota truck lover has his roof of his fj painted with 54 on it to mess with jpd.car 54 where are you!

Hey I will check into getting carbon fiber engine covers. There is a guy at IONIC DYNAMICS, that does custom carbon fiber work. I've ordered stuff from him whenever I had my maxima. He told me if I needed custom stuff to let him know. So...if we can get enough people he might be able to get this for us. Once I find out what he can do, I'll let everyone know.

send me some pics of the cover, inside and out if
possible. Right now we are at some crossroads with the
shop since we are expanding the materials that we work
with.

If it's doable I will let you know, if not I'll
give you a time frame as to when we would be able to
work on it.

So if some can give me some pics I'll send them over to him if any wants to see the actual web site its www.ionicdynamics.com right now they do mainly maxima and 300z stuff, but they do others.
