I have always preferred the sound of a Flowmaster over a Magnaflow.

if its just the muffler, then i have had both before. . . . the flow master is definitely louder and more throaty, because it uses metal baffles, the magnaflow has a more "muffled, controlled sound" because of the fiberglass inside. it kinda sounds like a stock 350z exhaust but louder, however i would try to get catback system if i could because most shops dont mandrel bend.

all flowmasters that I have heard are way too loud, magnaflow has a nice low tone thats just right.

i am to scared to get any b.c i am scared it will sound like a fart can or its going to be to loud like a silverado z71....plus if i get a magna flow it will sound like 350z?

Well it all depends on personal preference. If you like a loud, smooth exhaust, go Flowmaster. If you like a mellow, but smooth sound, go Magnaflow. The stock exhaust isn't much different than a Magnaflow IMO and I wanted something that sounds different so I went with FM. What do you mean? The two mufflers are totally different design so yeah they are going to sound a lot different. I don't think anyone goes with Borla, probably because it sounds like dookie.
