Failed Smog in San Diego, need help!!!

So as the title says, I failed my smog. Everything else passed except my visual. The mechanic saw my DTLTH's. So now I have to put my stocks back on. I also have the urd o2 sim installed. Do I need to uninstall that as well? Thanks!

which sim is it? plug and play or hard wired? If it's out of sight I don't see why you'd need to pull it. But if it's the plug and play you might as well yank it....will only take a couple minutes

It's the hard wired o2sim. Just wondering if it will have an affect on smog readings when I put my stock headers back in.

Bahahahahaha! To all my Californian brothers, you know that wasn't directed toward you as much as the government out there. I really do have 3 of those safe fuel cans and every single one has broken within about a year or so of me buying it. One won't dispense fuel at all anymore. :motz:

Oh yea, those special CARB approved gas cans. What a joke. They make you spill gas everywhere really contributing to the fuel vapor problem.

Just another case of government gone wild.

Dude you should have gone ask around parents, friends, family, coworkers someone will know a shady dude that you can donate a little bit more so they can pass you especially in the ghetto, unless your a white man then they might think your a cop or some kind of official and not wanna do it.

The problem with boards like CARB and others is they just cannot leave stuff alone. Everytime they meet they just feel compelled to add new regulations whether they are needed or not.

Here is a great example of where they are going. Just as URD was pulling up stakes and moving out of California, CARB announced that they planned to "regulate" the color of cars that are sold in California. No more dark colors, but cause that burns more gas. This is why CHP cars are not black and white any more, just white. They were even planning on limiting the color you could repaint an old car.

It was clearly time to get out of there.

They are doing everything they can to destroy the last industry that is viable in California, the automotive aftermarket with senseless regulations that are going to remove the ability of a car owner to make any modifications to his own car. We are not talking about safety things, we are simply talking about things that are just keeping you from having fun.
