Is there anything special when towing an X Runner with a tow truck. Gonna be towing the front off the ground, will there be any problems with the LSD? Should I dolley the rear wheels off the ground? Goes into the shop tomorrow.

For RWD wouldn't it better to have the rear up?

Wouldn't the steering drift though? I was thinking about that option too.

Why dont you just keep the wheels straight and lock the steering wheel?

Do not use a tow dolly. I hauled my X from Oklahoma to Alabama and only had the front tires on it. The steering wheel was locked and when I turned I knocked the front end out. Either lift the rear or better yet, put the entire truck on a trailer.

Oh snap!!! I guess the thing is tow from the rear wheels. Good thing my trucks not lowered yet.

If at all possible get a flat bed... I wouldn't take a chance of tearing off the body kit when the tow truck drivers hits a bump or get careless

I towed mine from Stillwater Ok. to Gulf Shores Al. No problems with the tranny. But I think I messed up the alignment, I took the key out of the ignition so the steering locked. Guess it put the front of the truck in a little stain when I had to back up or make sharp u turns. I know the dolly was suppose to pivot but it didnt do A very good job. I think I will get a car hauler next time.
