Few XR questions

ok right now i have a cobalt ss/sc, well as of tomarrow it will have been in the shop for 30 days so that means lemon law. Now iam looking to buy a XR but i have a few questions:

1) how reliable are they?

2) are they easy to bag and lay frame?

3) is 27,179 too much to pay for one? (this is after taxes and everything)

1)so far they seem to be standing up to the known toyota exspections, aslong as you don't put methonal on them :laugh: (sorrry xrobber, had throw that one in)

3)27,179 seems alittle high (seen higher). im hoping thats a price for new off the lot and if so you can probabley get them down alittle.

1. rock solid.
2. no cars are easy to bag and make them lay frame. cancel my answer to #1 if you plan on going this route.
3. yeah, seems high. but, it depends where you live. talk in terms of buying price, then we can compare without having to distinguish between different tax rates. you shouldbe paying about 23500 +TL

If you want a red one and are on the East Coast (fill out your profile so we know) - there is one that has been on a lot here with the BBK for more than 6 months. I got mine from the same dealership (less the BBK) for $23,500. Let me know if you're near Virginia and I can give you the info. I would definitely say that $27,000+ is very high especially if it has no BBK or dealer add-ons.

That price is a tad high. I am sure you can get it down from there. You should be able to walk out the dealer for $25-26K out the door no problem. I know location plays a huge part in the price of these trucks. Some guys are able to get them dirt cheap while others are stuck with not much playing room in price. But for $25-26k you should be able to get one.

number2...definately not since the frame is higher than the body ..u would just drag body kit all day ...if u want to bag one just get a regular taco

1) lives up to toyota reliability so far
2) been asking the same questions...seems like a normal bag job if you just want to just bag ...laying frame will take a whole lot of work and you'll probably have to take off the body kit
3) i paid 26K for mine but this included some dealer extras
