so i was out with a buddy last night for st. patty's day. we went to the Auld Dubliner in Long Beach, but the line was insane (got there a little later than i wanted), so we ended up walking down the street to the Yard House. the line was a little bit more manageable (10 min to get in because of checking id's). we ended up getting a small table instead of trying to get anywhere close to the bar. after about 30 min of being there, we see these two pretty cute girls come in and start to walk around looking for a table, but there were none. so after only one drink, i approached them and asked if they wanted to join us at our table, they said yes.
after talking to them for about an hour i asked the one i thought had the better personality if she wanted to go out some time, and she wrote her number down on an old receipt i had in my wallet. she ended up getting up to "powder her nose" and was gone for 20 min (due to a huge line for the womens room), and out of nowhere, her friend writes her number down and tells me to give her a call sometime (not knowing that i asked for her friends number earlier).
that was completely out of left field, but welcomed.
so i'll have to asses the situation and call them up sometime in the next few days.
and no, these girls were not there to get drunk, just to have a few drinks and have a good time. so over all, i didn't spend a penny over $30 for my drinks (with tip) and the girls paid for their own, and i got both of their numbers... by far my best st. patty's day ever:top:
