Decided to work on the truck today and took some pictures as promised :biggrin: enjoy!

well there you go ! signals coming from a Premier DEHP880PRS (i love this unit) and amps are 2 Zapco DC360.4. Im not finished with the amp rack yet but im gonna make the amp rack look as close to stock as possible using some factory parts while fabricating new parts

Thanks guys ! the 8's actually sound great but there are a few rattles mainly from the seatbelt assembly and some are from the seatbelt adjuster on the door panel itself which is probably alot easier to fix than the assembly, sound deadening also helped alot with flexing, highly recommended if you want to go this route. I built this system to be lightweight,clean,clear,take up little or no room,lots of mids and lots of midbass, i dont have the bass that you would get from having a box in the backseats but its there and it gets people guessing where the bass is coming from. Sealing up the accessdoors was actually pretty simple, cutting out the boards to divide the top half of the door from the lower half was the hardest part because you want it to fill in as much gap as possible before spraying the spray foam. The rear doors arent totally sealed but its enough to get somekine of backpressure, it acts more like a ported or a halfass sealed :laugh: .

Oh, let me just add a few more comments about the sound of the system, alot of the kick comes from the 5 1\4s and the 8's are there to fill in and add depth. They blend together so well that it sounds like all the bass is coming from 1 speaker, its not a system to shake other peoples mirrors and set off alarms but if tuned right, you can get some real good sound quality and sound staging from it :biggrin: .
