Flip down face?

I have a Panasonic CQ-C8303U, from my littel brother, all i need is the harness and a faceplate and i could use the radio...

but crutchfield says i can't instal it in my truck because it has a flip face, and the x-runner can't use flip down faces, is there any truth to that?

i have a motorized kenwood, the drops down, and there aren't any problems at all with it.

kenwood excelon xdc-x990 i believe.

said the same thing on crutchfield when i got my alpine headunit but i asked a fellow ct member and he said it would work fine and it did ...not sure why they say that though

i think k2 has 1 and his works fine. there's nothing in the way to hit anyway....do it you weont have any probs w/ it
