Fog light mod 05-06

I did option 1 but instead of splicing the green and red/black wire together I hooked the red/black wire ( relay coil side ) into its own 10 amp fuse that I added using a spare from the fuse block. So the fog lamp relay switch has its own 10 amp circuit.

Yea it nice. The signals are used as a DTRL. You use a relay and a jumper that you can order online for $50.00.

this mod is pretty easy. There are other options that you can do.
Did you check out the TN mod by SWTRDSPORT he showed different mods.

This mod is completely free, all it takes is about 1 foot of 16ga wire for each side.

2 pieces of wire, and thats all you need.

The mod that I was talking about is the DTRL. I ordered the relay and the harness. I know about the mod that you have done but I like the DTRL mod because the signal lights are alot brighter in this mod.

yes sir i did :top: ... i kinda understood it ... just thinking when to do it now ... if i did the Blacked out headlight mod im sure i can do this if i follow and read the directions :laugh:

Hell yes!!! I have not did the blacked out headlight but checked it out and it's by far harder than the foglight mod. :top:
