I've been watching tv, and I've seen a couple commercials for the new tundra. And you know what I think sucks? It has rear disk brakes. and we don't. Stupid Toyota... :motz:

That is one of my favorite commercials...i thought the one where they drive up the ramp towing a trailer and stopping down the ramp was cool:driver:

And those brakes:argh: At least Toyota is recognizing that people need bigger brakes and more power.

Well, although I was disappointed that the X didn't have 4-wheel discs - I'm not necessarily sure that we NEED them. The Tundra, pulling a full load would really NEED the discs in the rear. I haven't had any problems stopping the X with the drums.

Amen to that on a small pickup. What the X needs is larger fronts.

Actually, I think the add touts how what's really important is 40 to 70 mph through the closing gate.

They are really good commercials. I've noticed Ford's F-series commercials are all about damage control lately against the new Chevy and the new Tundra.

And it only gets better, spoke with yota rep that tells me they filmed 4 way drag race bettween tundra ,chevy, ford and dodge.had camera on crane perched above the sraightaway.1/2 way down the track the tundra was in the lead over ford and dodge so bad that they had to raise the camera fast just to film how bad they got beat by the tundra.the chevy was second, though not close followed by the ford and the dodge was dead last.:top:
