GPS Antenna Location?

Maybe a dumb question, but I am curious where everyone puts their aftermarket GPS antenna location. I have everything wired up, and I don't know if it has to be visible or can you tuck it somewhere? Does it matter if it's inside the dash or not?

I put mine right behind the radio, underneath the dash as high up as possible. As long as it is facing up with no metal above it, it can be inside the dash and still work fine. I like it better in there just because of the fact that you can't see it.
