well I search some of the threads but didn't get the answer I was lookin for. so I installed some jba long tubes, and got the extentions for the 02 sensors. and now I have a check engine light, and the codes are p0420,p0430.. I emailed G but no reponse yet so I figured I would try to get yall's opinion.. are these codes because of the deleted cats, or could it be something else... I got the extentions for the 02 to try to avoid the CEL... I have cleared the light a couple times but keeps comin back on...

That's catalyst codes usually for the converter. I would highly doubt both of them going out all at once. I would definitely double check your work. If it only happen since the header install it could be a sensor issue too.

Long tubes delete your front cats. The urd O2 sims the back cats if you're running a aftermarket y pipe with no cats. Those codes are popping for the deleted cats.

you need to order the o2 simulator to get rid of the check engine light if you remove the front 2 cats in the headers

The extension harness is needed for the ecu to properly read all cylinders and not just cylinders 3&4.

You will also need to get the O2 sim which is what takes care of the CEL. Call up gadget let him know that you just ordered and I am sure he will offer the discount price as if you bought it all as a package:top:

What is this talking about cylinders 3&4? The two codes he has is strictly cuz he has the long tubes and not the O2 sim like he needs to fake the computer out.

The talk about cylinder 3&4 is about the extensions that he bought. If he put the sensors in the middle bung on the jba headers he would only be reading cylinders 3&4. With the extensions, he can put the sensors in on the lower bungs by the collector and get readings from all 6 cylinders instead of just the two.
I believe the op thought the extensions and moving the sensors to the collector would eliminate the check engine light but it doesn't. He still needs the o2 sim so the ecu still thinks the front cats are still there.
Simple fix for that check engine light and easily installed with in 5 mins.
Hope that clears it up for you.
