home page messed up?

ive noticed it happen a couple times on different days. i log on, load the home page, and i was under the assumption the newest posts were on there. as you click some, they said it was just minutes ago on the front page, but, the post had been there for a 1+ days and infact there was other posts made after. basically, its not showing the newest threads. it does it at my work and home computer, so i dont think its me. :dontknow:

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think that it depends on what computer you're on. I view the website from 3-4 different computers on a regular basis. If I check threads at work and then come home, it doesn't show the threads that I viewed at work as having been viewed. It must set a cookie on the computer that you're using. I'll investigate this a little more and find out for sure.

for instance, the last posted thread in what do you prefer, in the thread is says last post was

Today, 05:38 AM

from the home screen, its says last post was 3:13?

I see what you're saying now. Although I noticed that my posts and your posts are correct. I wonder if these certain users do not have their time zone setup correctly... and maybe that's causing the problem. :dontknow:

very possible. it doesnt seem consistant, so maybe it is sorting based on a time zone with certain users, and not a uniform time zone for the site?
