First off, my "street racing" is only to 60, regardless of how fast the car keeps going. It's illegal, but not THAT illegal
I promise I am not even lying about this one second. I just pulled in from a race about 5 minutes ago. It was raining and I was following a Porsche 911 (year?) and a Dodge Ram (newest body style) I couldn't see much cause it is dark. At the first stop light behind them both, the 911 revved at the Ram and they both took off at the light, obviously the Ram got smoked to 60.
Next light I tried to get up there but traffic was in the way, and the Ram just followed the 911 to the next light and they both switched to the right lane. I stayed in the left and pulled up next to the 911.
Once I was up there I played it cool. I looked at the light perpendicular to see if it was yellow yet; still green. I looked forward and made sure not to rev, thinking if I did, this punk would want to smoke my azz. However, I turned my music off and gave a listen. Sure enough he revved at me and pulled up to the stripe. I followed suit, but kept my rpms on 1,500 (it was raining).
Bam!! The light turns green and I was about 3/4 a car lengths ahead at the end of 1st, shifted into 2nd at about 5 grand and listened for his shift. He didn't miss, but it was looong. I left it in second and hit 50, now a car length ahead... then the unthinkable happened. A dang old man was riding his bike about 200 feet in front of me across my lane, in the rain!! I had no choice but to slow down and the 911 flew by and got off the exit.
I'm not sure if it is my superior driving in the rain skills (coming from Florida) , his possible spinning of his tires (which didn't seem like he did), or his long shift, but I am going to go ahead and chalk this up as 2-0 on the street (even though I should have gotten my azz handed to me).

I'm pretty stoked right now.
ps. My first win was against a 03-05 ish Caddy with a Northstar V8 (badge on side gave it away).
pss. And don't hate, I know he either sucks at driving, or sucks at driving... cause I should have my tail between my legs right now. But I don't, and I won!!! So let's just pretend like XR's are faster than 911's for one night
edit: lucke informed me i probably raced a carrera, not a 911, which is turbo'd
