With X-Fest MICRO right around the corner and some possible other events looming in the future, I'm curious how far you guys would be willing to drive for a major event. I know what my limit is... let's hear yours.

I have drove from Phoenix to just south of Columbus, Ohio straight through several times, and that take around 34 hours one way. I only stop for gas and to pee and I stop and sleep for maybe an hour or two. each way. When I am going somewhere I just want to get there and can't stand to stop. So if enough people show up I would drive for a day to get there.

I used to drive from California to Oregon and back, or the other way around, about 5 times a year. That's about a 13 hour drive one way. I would do it straight through. No point in making it take longer. I would rather have an event close by. But I'm in Oregon. There's NO chance of that happening. So I'd be willing to drive pretty far.

I'd do a long distance trip. I like driving.
I once drove down to texas ~about 10 hours~ just becuase I was bored and felt like driving. :driver:
The ride home sucked though as I no longer felt like driving :rolleyez:

Yea, i put down 2 - 4 hours only because of my current situation at home. (providing care to a terminally ill parent) But if i wasnt tied down, i would do 12 hours EASY :)

:dito: Unfortunately my pocketbook doesn't allow me unlimited gas funds. So I am really limited to how much I can afford at the time.
