I seem to have some light scratches on my hood an door. Don't know how they got there but it ain't scratched to the metal just barely enough to see them in the light. Put some wax on them an it covered it up a little bit, but still can see them when the sun hits it. Is there anyway to remove these scratches without having to paint? I always use a microfiber washing cloth an towel on my truck, I'm thinking my towel must have had a little dirt or something on it an caused the scratches. An what is the best kind of wax you all have found? Any help is appreciated.

I use Meguiars GOLD CLASS that stuff rocks. ANd if you use it once a month it tends to keep surface scratches off your paint!!

I don't know how deep yours are but I had some really light swirl marks all over my truck after I took it to Danny's Family Car Wash (I had a free wash so I did it). The towels they used must have made them but as soon as I got it home I waxed it with Meguiars NXT Next Generation Tech Wax. It completely got rid of all the swirl marks. That's the only wax my whole family uses.:top:

Thanks for the quick replies this place is awesome. The truck had swirl marks since the dealer washed it. But these scratches seems to be a little bit deeper than swirl marks so I'm hoping they get covered up or something. As for the NXT wax I use it on all my fox motorcycle helmets an seems to be good stuff. Ain't tried it on a vehicle though. Sounds like I have something to do after school tomorrow if its nice out.
