lucky bad luck????

fri the 13 was not a good day for me or the x.... tonneau cover went awol and serious dents and scratches was placed in the roof, doors etc along with two tires blown/flat...

the good news... insurance is covering everything looking for assistance on how to get them to let me do a few things like the tail lights( for aftermarket instead of the factory) my choice on the bed cover etc to name a few... also on where i can fine the replacements at a good deal ( been looking ebay) any help is appreciated thanks. right now they are talking bout letting the dealer do all the repairs
also thanks bigdreams for the info from the get go to get this thread started and we wanna see the x when shes all ready so xru look out for it!!!
ps. also looking for the spoiler trying to get that in also

You might be able to get them to cut u a check and buy the parts U want.

no the tow was careless and it flew off then i had to be towed cause i had a flat in the morning threw the spare on and got another flat that night...

Sounds like decent bad luck. I kinda had the same happen to me.

Bought an 03 Lightning with 21K miles and Nov of last year after only having the truck for 2 months, I was hit twice in 3 weeks with the 2nd time totaling it. Now I have a Whippled Lightning putting down 530/600 that runs mid 11's in the 1/4. Good bad luck
