that does not get viruses
It's impractical for people to write viruses for such a small portion of the market. Face it - PC's rule the market share in the world. PC Magazine estimates that only 2.7% of all online computers are Macs. Why would I spent all the time and effort to write a virus for 2.7% of the market? :dontknow:
Also, you'll never convince me to give up my games for the Mac OS. Now I know that the new Intel Core 2 Duo's can dual boot into Windows to runs Windows apps --- but why pay all the money for a "glorified" Windows machine if I'm gonna be in Windows all the time?

all photoshop programs are on my laptop
It has been industry standard for a long time to do design/video work on Macs. While there was a day when Macs handled this workload much more efficiently - now, there isn't really any difference between the two. As a matter of fact there are times when my AMD 64 2.2 Ghz seems nearly as fast as my bosses Dual Processor G5 (which he paid in the neighborhood of $4500 for
without monitors).
Anyway - I'm really not trying to start a battle, just explaining why Mac isn't for me. I have no problem using them but the pricetag is really what sets me off. If you've had bad experiences with PCs, unfortunately you really have no other option than Mac. It would be nice if we had more choices - like cell phones - when it came to OS's and Hardware. :frown:
