Are the mr clean magic erasers paint safe? Seems to get everything off anything. My parents used one on the Cherokee Laredo and didn't seem to marr the finish at all and pulled sap off like it was water. Good on the bugs too. But I'm hesitant to try it on the X.

WARNING:

Melamine foam erasers work well; but on surfaces that are painted, polished or easily scratched, they might work a little too well. It's recommended to test the eraser on a small, preferably unnoticeable, portion of whatever you're looking to clean before you dive on in.

:hmmmm2:

Get them screws yet?.......

I would play it safe and use a claybar instead

to me those things are like a sanding block

I would be scared to use it, I say test on something first...... if I have one here I might go try it on my sonoma hood tomorrow
