well, a weld-on muffler will not void any warranty. No tip will make that big of difference

I dont think a tip will change the sound, you will have to swap the mufflers :top:

Tips are for looks. Unless you get a resonator tip, basically a mini-muffler in the tip. Then it will make what you have....quieter.

lol why does everyone think that doing ANYTHING aftermarket to their vehicle just voids the entire warranty. With my S/C already installed, ive had my throwout bearing replaced & battery . I cant remember exactly what was done in what order but ive also had the Clutch TSB's done, and other interior parts fixed.

yeah on the warrantys now doesnt what you change only void the warranty on that part unless it directly effects other things such as a s/c effecting the motor but not say the ac or something like that ?

The dealership has to be able to show that the aftermarket part had a direct effect on the part that goes bad in order to say that it isnt covered.

gotcha question spyder if i take my truck in to the shop monday and tell them my clutch pedal has started sqeaking should they fix that under warranty im guess they should since theres a tsb out for it correct?

CAI and Magnaflow

I got a meaner sound. Got the TRD CAI and a Magnaflow. Between 2500 and 3500 people know you are coming. At freeway speeds there is no resonance in the cab so it's the best of both worlds. Just don't see a tip making a difference.

You won't get any sound from a tip really...It'll look meaner though. :top:

Here is mine, The tip was made from stainless at a shop, than polished...now that looks mean! :top:

tire rack has the kdw2's to your door for around 700.00 no tax.rob got his from a 4x4 catolog for somewhere around that.mine are stock tire size my rims are widened though.
