I'm a bigtime motogp fan. I have been following Rossi since he was 16 & in the 125 class. For that matter I guess Nicki was about 16 when he came on the scene in AMA. Rossi is my favorite but Nicki would be a close 2nd. I would look for Rossi to win this year. It's hard to believe he will have the bad luck he had last year. That being said, Nicki has the skill & confidence to be right there. I can't rememebr his name offhand, but that kid from Spain coud be really tough. He rode really well last year for his 1st year. I can hardly wait.
Motorcyles are my 1st love.

If he didn't have a contract, I think Repsol would have dumped that midget Pedrosa for crashing NickY.
I have been following it all when it was just GP racing with 500 2-strokes.

I remember seeing this kid at a Pocono FUSA, he was really small but he climbed all over the bike and rode his ass off for a 16 year old and won. Problem was, he was 12. This kid....Nicky Hayden.

That vid shows testing of the 990s. Official testing of the 800s actually started the day after the last race in Oct. 06.

If any of you think your s/c or turbo taco is fast or makes a lot of power, these bikes are limited to fuel usage so it limits the absoloute max power they make. The Hondas make 250-260hp from 990cc, thats a 1-liter engine, no turbo or s/c! They weigh no less than 318lbs(rules). The series decided the bikes were too fast so they reduced the engine to 800cc. Surprise, in preseason testing, most of the top teams are already running lap times UNDER the previous records!

Yep, nothing like actually leaning INTO a turn, knee on the deck, just your feet and one calf on the bike railing through a turn. Turning, thats what makes a bike 'a rush'.

There will be a second motogp race here in the US next september. I'm really excited about this cause Indianapolis is a lot closer for me than the Laguna Seca race. I'm thinking about going and was wondering if anyone else here is? I know there are a few of you from that part of the country. It would be nice to meet up with some x-runner brothers for a fun weekend. Let me know.
