My 09+ sub solution

Sorry for the crappy iphone pic. This is my solution to the crappy stock sub in 09+ trucks. It uses all the stock mounting locations with no modification to the truck. I'm using a JBL GTO804 sub with approximately 0.5 cubic feet of sealed box volume. It's 3/4" MDF and fiberglass construction covered in vinyl and black suede. I love it. It's a trillion times better than the original sub and the seats and console all function properly without mods.

By far the best practical application. I'm all for sound but not for the loss of basic functionality of space and other things. Did you do this up yourself or had it custom made/ordered?

Thanks guys, I made this myself in my home garage and had to weld up my own brackets that bolt to the stock mounting brackets. I will see if I have any pics of the build but I think i have limited amounts. I'm sure I could draw it up in CAD though. This thing sounds a trillion times better and definitely creates a full body sound. If you crank the bass up- you get a back massage and the mirrors shake. I put the amp under the drivers seat with the wiring running up through the rear wall to the sub.[/QUOTE]
