I finally finished my box for my four 10" jl w1v2's. it was a pain in the ass however. i built my first box 2 cubic feet too big. i thought it wouldn't work so i began another one. i got about half way through it and a lightbulb popped in my head. i decided to fill up the excess space by placing 4x4 posts in the box, i know im :bird: , I ended up putting 21.5 feet of 4x4 post in my speakerbox. the thing weighs almost 200 lbs. :hahaha:Now before you point and laugh, I hooked up two of my subs to see how it sounded and damn this thing hits. i am friggin happy.

here are some pics...sorry forgot the flash. and there upside down because i had to flip the box for my wires to reach im going to go get longer wires when i get my other amp hooked up to the other two subs.

You could use solid blocks of Styro-foam (the white stuff not the squishy stuff) Instead of wood just use your math skills to figure out the cubic inches of the foam and cut to fit. Remember your subs take up air too. This is a trick I learned from two of the most famous pioneers of the car audio and home audio world
"Eric Holdaway" and "Vance Dikcason"
They would use this method to fine tune their bass tight/punchy what have you?
These guys are legends! and old friends

takes up more room for my needs.there are advantages to this system thou:
1- will need weight lifter car thieves to steal the box! j/k

2- no need for traction bars with the 200lbs where its located, downforce.!
