yea they are hardcore...Its SOOO much cooler then the octopus was. Its in there carrying large mounds of sand building its own den. I cant wait till its hungry and feeds. they are brutes.

bought it from my Local fish store..Same Place I got the octopus..yes they are saltwater.

yea the one in the vid was like 6-7" long...the one I have is probably only around 3" long..Its cool watching it excavate the sand..Carrying large amounts of it and dumping it off..making its den

yeah that's what my brother told me...he said he saw the same one on the video in Washington (not the same exact one)...it was a Peakock Mantis he said.

The Pea•XR•XR•XR•XRs are the most powerful ones and can shatter the glass of a tank..those need to be in acrylic. None of the other species have been known to have the power to break glass.
Yes I had the octo for about 2months...She laid eggs a little over a month ago. Octos die shortly after that. She actually lived longer then I expected after laying her eggs.

well that's just crazy to me, that octo shouldn't of laid eggs. Anywho is this one post to live longer? It looks kind of cool, but that big one....... wow.

This is my first mantis I have ever had..I am not sure on their lifespan..i would say they should live a few years if they are like any other shrimp life.
