Here is my other project I have kind of abandoned for the last couple years. But I am going to make an attempt to get it together this year. It is a 74 factory 2wd chevy blazer. 73-75 blazer's were full convertibles. They made less than 1,000 per year in 2wd form. The majority were 4x4. I bought a complete 89 chevy suburban with a new 350 crate engine and a rebuilt trans for $1700.00. I bought it so I could strip it and update my blazer with the newer front sheetmetal and the fuel injected 350 and 700r4 trans. I also have the leather front bucket seats and console and the rear third row seats out of a 03 tahoe. These seats look like they were made for this truck. Here are a few older pics. I will get new ones this weekend and throw them up.
Here is how it looked when I bought it from a mexican guy in California. Kind of ugly but I saw what it could be. Kind of like when I bought my base model Tacoma.
Here is how it looked 2 weeks after I bought it. First thing to go was the gangsta white walls and those ugly ass spokes. IMO spokes only look good in 13x7 and on old Impalas.
Here is the vehicle that made the sacrafice
Here are a couple pics with the new suburban parts on it and the tahoe seats in. I have since got everything except the body tub media blasted and just needing to start body work and paint. I am going to get the body blasted too as soon as funds allow.
