So..
im on my way to work (Please remember I am back to N/A) this morning...
Doing about 80 on the road I was on (7:00 AM - no traffic).
And the truck SHUTS OFF.
I downshift to get it running again, and NOTHING.
downshikft again, NOTHING.
Hit the brakes (which suck - without power obviously)...
Pull over to the CENTER median -
Pop my hood -
I am 100% CLUELESS of what it could be....
The truck was running PERFECTLY..... then just shut off.
I try to restart it... Nothing. no turn over - no click - no nothing.
All my electronics work properly... no dim lights, no electronic issues until I try to start it.
So I pulled my battery cables to reset my ECU (thought maybe it was something there), left it unhooked for 20 mins as I am on the phone with work trying to talk people into opening up the building....
Hooked them back up - No difference (except now I have to set all my audio shlt back up @#$#$@#$!@#!@)....
Right as I am about to give up hope and call a tow truck....
I notice a PINK 30a fuse in my fuse box under the hood. The fuse is labeled AM2. It is blown. I had a spare at my house (30 mins away).
I had a friend come meet me, drive me to my house and grab the fuse.
I got back to the truck, popped the fuse in, Started it right up, and got to work 2 hours late.
I called toyota and was on hold for 25 mins (no exageration) while the SENIOR tech tried to tell me what that fuse is there for, and how it can blow....
I finally hung up and said F@#$ it.
So Work sucked today.... I actually had to work ion the warehouse again (the POS employees we had in the warehouses were stealing from us, so management is trying to get everything together there) and I am dead ass tired...
My boss comes to me at 3:00PM and brings me to her office...
We close the door, and she breaks out a 12pack of Corona
After drinking the Corona and bull•XR•XR•XR•XRting for about an hour, she asks about the IPOD in my pocket that I have been listening to for a few days while I work in the warehouse.
I explained to her that it is one that I put together out of all the spare parts in the back, and I use it while I am at work.
I also told her I love it and I am going to want to buy one soon.
She told me to keep it...
