No problem w/ it. My x seems to be allergic to it. I had it installed for about a month, thru 6 ign coils out all at once, took the unit out and sent it to gadget to check out. He tested it and found a issue with it not reading the maf, so he tested a new one in his truck- found no issues and sent that unit out to me.
I installed that unit in my x, worked great for about 3 weeks, then through some more coil packs. I replaced those coil pack and a few weeks later, through another coil pack. Removed ucon after talking w/ gadget and sent it back. He tested it found no issues and sent me out a new one w/ new software updates that he tested in his vehicle for 3-4 weeks. So I have it back and haven't got around to putting it back in, takes only 20 mins max I know but I am still deciding if I should put it back in or not. I have new mods like the trd s/c and urd y, so if I put the ucon back in, I'll need to make an appointment with g to set up my lab top and tune the ucon for my s/c and zero cats. I've been really busy lately and haven't had time to make that phone call.
I have the factory reflash and haven't had any issue so that is part or the reason as well as to why I'm not rushing to put it back in.
The ucon has been tested thou roughly and has no issues per gadget. Only thing you would have to do is contact g about a cooler t stat and cam gears. I don't think it should be an issue to get a hold of either of these items if you contact urd tec support. I have all install instructions for the ucon, tstat and cam gears.
