So, a part of the project that I've been working on is going to have a small blurb on the history channel tonight at 10.

Modern Marvels : Canning Airs on Wednesday January 31 10:00 PM
It's the unsung essential of modern life. Canning is the method of a preserving and packaging food, without which civilization would never have ventured beyond the local food supply. It changed the way the world eats and revolutionized the food industry. There are self heating and self cooling cans, microwaveable cans, ozone safe aerosol cans and cans that store nuclear waste. We will explore where canning has been, where it is now and where it is going in the future.

It's just a little blurb, but it's still cool to me!

ohh I'm not actually on TV. I've just been working on this project FOREVER and I thought that it was cool that it was going to be on TV.

There is a facility here in Aiken, SC called the DWPF, defense waste processing facility, that takes the radioactive sludge from these huge tanks and mixes it with glass frit in a melter, then puts it into stainless steel cans that are stored here until Yuca mountain opens.

Ill prob end up watching it lol

Why'd they start with those cans that you can only open one side and you have to use a knife and go around the inside to get the stuff out????

IT DOES'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!
